Camp Fortune, 300 Dunlop Rd., Chelsea, Lower Canadian Run

The Anne Heggtveit Cup, named after the Olympic gold medalist who learned to ski at Camp Fortune, is run by the Camp Fortune Ski Club. Athletes from around the world come to compete in this alpine slalom race for women and men. The club is over 100 years old, and this race is the only FIS internationally sanctioned ski race in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. Come out to see some of the region’s best compete against international and world-class skiers, including members of the Canadian National Alpine team.
