Professional carvers from around the world put their talent to the test by transforming blocks of ice into magnificent sculptures. This year is a special edition as Winterlude is hosting the inaugural Canada Cup of Ice Carving, in partnership with Ice Magic in Lake Louise and the Ice on Whyte Festival in Edmonton, as part of Canada’s 150th Anniversary of Confederation celebrations. Starting on Monday, February 6, the public will be invited to vote online for their favourite ice sculpture (team category only). The Cup will rotate annually between Canada’s three international ice-carving competitions. It will showcase the very best of ice-carving talent!

Presented in collaboration with the Canadian Ice Carvers’ Society.
